Social Convention
Merchandise. Account management. Creative direction.
Social Convention are a start up creative studio and social enterprise who’s aim is to present a new-age experience of art and culture. They wanted to release a limited edition line of merchandise to develop their identity and extend their brand.
I joined forces with designer Dominic Lovegrove-Saville and illustrator Julia Triay Sarasa to design a sweatshirt, hoodie and tote bag. We created mood boards surrounding the areas of their brand’s values, which included being glamorous, playful and gritty. We then used their colour palette to create a series of assets surrounding partying, the performing arts and drag culture.
The merchandise sold out and we extended the project to an Instagram filter which contributed to an increase in following by over 125%.
